This sketch of the Brede Valley in East Sussex was actually done two years ago but it suggests the sort of weather we are having at the moment.

    You are so talented Peter, you call it a sketch - is it charcoal? Excuse my ignorance I am not an artist myself just know when I like what I see.

    It's an Edding drawing pen, Sam, with black guache wash - guache being similar to poster paint - water-based but more versatile than watercolour and less messy than oils when you're working outdoors! Thanks so much for your kind and encouraging words!
